Travis has lived and worked in Stark County all of his life. He knows the importance of open, effective government and what must be done to bring this to Stark County. He is looking for dedicated individuals who want to expand their knowledge of the political process.

This campaign will be focused on issues such as stimulating the economy, enhancing public safety and creating an ethical and open county government. In the heightened political climate, this experience will be both educational and memorable.

POSITION TITLE: Campaign Intern

DUTIES/JOB DESCRIPTION: Depending on the qualifications of the applicant, duties may include: campaign event scheduling/research, grassroots efforts, door-to-door efforts, phone bank efforts, and volunteer coordination.

HOURS: Flexible, minimum, maximum hours per week. Students may be able to use internship for academic credit.

REQUIREMENTS: Excellent writing and communication skills, knowledge of computer applications such as Windows XP, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.

Phone Banking for McCain

Hi there,

The McCain Campaign could really use your help in the coming days identifying voters and recruiting supporters to join our team. The more people we identify now, the better off we will be once the general election campaign begins. Any time you can spare helping us with phone calls in our local office will be a huge help. We are currently renting space in the Ohio Republican Party Building located at 211 South 5th Street in Columbus. We are open for callers between 9am and 8:30pm during the week and between 10:30am and 5:00pm on weekends. Our office phone number is 614-307-6600.
